Hi, I am Gabrielle, the baker (and mama) behind The Sweet & Sour Crumb.
I’m a stay-at-home mom of two wild little boys, a part-time graphic designer, candle maker… and now officially sourdough obsessed.
I started baking sourdough as a healthier alternative for my son, who has multiple food allergies. What began as being more mindful about ingredients turned into flour-dusted counters, a bubbling starter (basically my third child), and a dream growing right alongside my boys.
This bakery was built between nap times and late nights — no shortcuts, just simple ingredients and bread made with intention.
Every loaf is naturally leavened, slow fermented, and handcrafted in small batches right here in my home kitchen.
